Strikes at start of university term
After a successful ballot 21 Unison Higher Education (HE) branches will strike at the start of the new academic year for higher pay against a paltry 3% offer. The claim is for RPI plus 2%. Branches that opted out of the first disaggregated ballot and branches who were unsuccessful will have the chance to vote in a second disaggregated ballot. The date for the new ballot is subject to negotiation inside Unison.
