Workers’ Liberty at LO fête

stall

Workers’ Liberty ran a bookstall and a forum (on Israel-Palestine, the Standing Together movement, and our work with it) at the Luttle Ouvrière (LO) fête on 7-9 June,

LO, a French revolutionary socialist group, has run the fête, on an estate near Paris, almost every year since the early 1970s. Maybe 20,000 people each year are attracted by the food stalls, children’s games, and talks and displays on science, pre-history, and medieval society, as well as the political debates. Total numbers are as high as ever, but the number of left groups taking up LO’s offer of stall and forum space has dwindled.

Workers’ Liberty attends every year. We were able to have many discussions around the stall, including with Socialismo o Barbarie and Lotta Comunista. The 2026 fête will be 23-25 May.
