"Long Covid" sufferers challenge the government

Post-Covid

"Long Covid" sufferers, and groups working with them, are challenging the government over its neglect.

They're asking supporters to sign an online petition.

There are, they say, 1.9 million people in the UK, including 62,000 children and young people, who are living with long-term impairment and disability following a Covid-19 infection. (It seems that "Long Covid" covers a range of "post-Covid" conditions, rather than a single condition, but as yet no-one knows much about how to treat or mitigate any of them).
.
They call for a clear road map on targeted investment in biomedical and health research.

• Dedicated Research Funding

• Collaborative Research Initiatives

• Treatment Trials

• Public awareness campaigns

• Funding for specialised services to support adults, children, and young people (along with their families) who are suffering from "Long Covid".
