Spare a thought for passengers and staff at Finsbury Park station, where the one-way system is causing grief as well as social distancing.
Passengers arriving from the above-ground station are coming down to the Tube station, only to be told that they have to walk round to the other side of the station to get in. Moreover, the system has removed step-free access for people exiting the station..
While many people are happy to comply, others are not - whether it is because they are mobility-impaired, or just in a hurry. Of course, staff can 'use their disrection', but we all know that can lead to grief from other passengers who want the benefit of your discretion too.
Station staff have been calling for the system to be reviewed and changed. Because, you know, those who work there know best what works.
