So the appeal by the wacky Christian group dangerously claiming they can cure homosexuality and upset that their anti-gay bus ads were blocked by TfL was unsuccessful. Good. Though it’s worth noting that TfL got it wrong on the procedure. Probably not a surprise there – but something they need to fix quick in case such errors allow for groups such as this to be successful in court cases.
When this situation first arose, Boris claimed he had blocked the ad, LUL bosses said they did it - an RMT motion went through asking what was going on, and who blocked it. Shame this wasn't pushed further as Boris probably got an election boost saying he blocked the ad, but the court case seems to show it was more TfL’s doing.
