Willesden Green Strike

Posted in Tubeworker's blog on ,

Willesden Green station staff are striking today in protest at the repressive management regime on the group.

The list of management abuses is shocking, but will come as no surprise to North Greenwich drivers, who suffered under the same manager five years ago. By striking today, Willesden Green station staff are showing LUL that a bully who is unfit to manage drivers can not simply be moved into a position where he can bully station staff instead.

Management have been using what they call 'staff engagement' to dissuade people from striking, and have made the laughable claim that the issues on the group have been resolved. RMT needs to respond by strengthening this action by ensuring that Willesden Green staff get the support they deserve from the rest of the London Underground workforce.
