2024 marks the 50th anniversary of the beginning of revolution in Portugal which overthrew a fascist dictatorship.

This meeting will discuss the history of the revolution, the specific role of workers and trade unions, and what lessons the experience offers for struggles against authoritarian regimes today, and struggles to transform society in general. Do we still need to aim for revolutionary change?
