Tens of thousands of people have been killed following a massive earthquake on the Turkey-Syria border. In the wake of this tragedy and unfolding humanitarian crisis, we welcome a speaker from UID-DER (Uluslararası Işçi Dayanışması Derneği, Association of International Workers Solidarity), a rank-and-file workers’ organisation, to discuss the latest situation, the political context, and how international working-class solidarity can help relief efforts.
This meeting is hosted by Tubeworker, a socialist industrial bulletin for London Underground workers, by London Underground workers; and Off the Rails, a blog and zine for rank-and-file rail workers, both published by Workers' Liberty.
The discussion will take place from 15:00-16:30, with a brief editorial discussion to decide the contents of the next edition of the Tubeworker bulletin from 16:30-17:00. All rank-and-file rail and transport workers are welcome.
