Recent events in RMT have reaffirmed the need for rank-and-file (i.e., grassroots) reps and activists in the union to come together to discuss what kind of union we need, and organise to transform our current union in that image.
We are hosting this meeting to provide a forum for discussion about what we want our union to look like. How could it be more effective at winning workplace struggles? How could it be more democratic? How could it be more active around struggles for equality and liberation?
The meeting will be led by RMT activists but is open to any railway worker in any union. The meeting will begin with a screening of our "Fantasy Union of Rail and Transport Workers" video, available below.
