Perhaps it's a good job that Metronet workers don't have overalls, cos if they are based at Acton, they'd have nowhere to put them! About 250 engineering grade staff work out of Acton, with five toilets, three showers - and no lockers - between them.
To add insult to injury, they are now barred from the car park too - the irony being that many would not have to drive to work in the first place if there were enough vans to do the job and if they had lockers to keep their tools in.
If management can not provide basic facilities for workers to do the job, then they should not be surprised if workers refuse to do the job.
