Metronet: Heads May Roll

Posted in Tubeworker's blog on ,

Metronet is still squirming over the condemnation that has come its way over rails buckling in the hot weather. Witness this pathetic explanation of its remedial efforts.

Tubeworker predicts with confidence that heads may roll. Funny thing is, it's only just over a year ago that Chief Executive John Weight resigned over the company's piss-poor performance. But replacing one overpaid fat-cat boss with another does not seem to have solved the problems, does it? It's time to kick the private sector off the railway altogether, reverse the PPP and re-unite all sections of the Underground into a single, publicly-owned, accountable operation.
