Ford forced to table by plan to picket Bridgend plant! Watch out for a report on this. Apparently Unite offered to take 30 people to Ford's engine plant in Bridgend, 10 from each Visteon plant. Bridgend has had heavy investment to set it up as a "green" engine plant. Alarmed by this, Ford offered some talks and the Unite leaders told the Visteon convenors to hold off on the Bridgend visit.
