Tubeworker readers will know that LUL has agreed to delay the implementation of the ticket office cuts and closures until autumn 2008.

But while management may have agreed a delay, they are clearly determined to press ahead with the cuts. It seems that infraco surveyors continue to visit stations and measure up the ticket offices for demolition.

We can not afford to take our foot off the pedal and sit back and wait for management to attack us again. It is good to see that the unions are still out campaigning, leafleting etc, but nothing puts pressure on management like industrial action. RMT and TSSA shuld say to LUL that unless these plans are withdrawn - not just delayed - and unless all preparation work (eg. infraco surveys) is stopped, then they will be in dispute.
