Would you take a drink out of this?! Well, management seem to expect Bakerloo drivers to. Who knows what germs lurk within the water dispenser in the notorious Goldfish Bowl (the drivers' step-back room on the platform at the Elephant)?! There is a horrible stink, and the fridge is appalling too.
The men's loos are pretty terrible too. The pumps are to be replaced soon, but this is no excuse for inaction by management.
Drivers can not be expected to use these vile 'facilities'. If you need a glass of water, don't take a chance on the 'drinks' in the GFB. Insist on your right to a hygienic drink, even if that means a longer walk to get it. You never know, any consequent delay to the train service might concentrate management's mind.
