Good news - Pinochet is dead

Obituaries

Augusto Pinochet, the butcher of Chile is dead. Good. He overthrew an elected reformist government, murdered thousands of revolutionaries and militants and pioneered neoliberal austerity on the backs of Chilean workers.

I demonstrated against him when he was briefly detained here a few years ago. It was a disgrace that the Blairites released him.

We should join the celebrations of his death and learn the lessons from Chile.

A Fitting Memorial

Since he wasn't able to be successfully prosecuted while he was alive, he deserves a fitting memorial. They should name biggest dance hall in Santiago the Augusto Pinochet Ballroom. And bury him under it.
