Not dialectics

Corrections and Clarifications Department.

SM, in the introduction [WL64-5] to the excellent Ryazanov piece (where did you find it?), wrongly says Marx contributed the section on dialectics to Engels' Anti-Duhring. As Engels' prefaces make clear it was a bit on the history of political economy that Marx contributed. I suppose Sean had a slip of the brain. Incidentally, I disagree that Anti-Duhring is a good introduction to Marxism and also that it was written in close collaboration with Marx. But that is a judgment call on which there has been a long-running academic debate.

* Chris Arthur is right about the chapter by Marx in Anti-Duhring. The Ryazanov article was from Labour Monthly, February 1929.
