Unacceptable pay and benefits for employees
My mother is a demo coordinator for a Sam's club and has been for 12 years. Although she likes her job and the people she works with, I personally am outraged at the fact that the employees can only work the required "minimum" hours to be considered a full time employee...which is 37.5 hours a week. Although my mother has not had to reach out for government aide to supplement her income, me and my siblings have to help her with her cost of living because her pay is not enough to get by. For the last 5 years her pay raises have been .10 cents to .35 cents and the club she works at has been named the "Million Dollar Club" suppossedly because of the excellent sales.
I say keep up the fight. Sam Walton's widow and children need to know that you cannot treat the people who make that company what it is in this horrible way.
