Facebook event

On 26 September, when students from a rural teaching college set out to join a demonstration in Mexico City, police and gunmen left six dead and six severely wounded. 43 "disappeared".

Mexico has a long history of repression against the left, and student activists in particular. These horrendous events took place five days before the 46th anniversary of the massacre of hundreds of students by police during protests around the 1968 Mexico City Olympics.

Many tens of thousands have marched in Mexico, and solidarity demonstrations have taken place around the world. These protests are ongoing. Workers' Liberty London is holding this protest meeting as a contribution to building solidarity, and to build support for Mexican students and workers.

All welcome. More information awl@workersliberty.org
