Adding insult to injury, without explanation, the Trainpeople agency posted many of the 33 workers their P45 forms. We've been describing them as 'sacked' since LU ended its contract with the agency in January, leaving them without work. Now it seems they've actually been sacked from the agency too!
Maybe it's because the 33 had named a strike day on 26th February? Others suspect Trainpeople is trying to fake bankrupty to avoid paying thousands in back-pay. Some workers are owed £10k following their legal claim for equal pay with LU workers. This is nothing short of robbery. LU must force Trainpeople to pay up now!
