SA Democracy Platform
Submitted on 18 August, 2004 - 23:00"The Socialist Alliance Democracy Platform defends the socialist policy of the Socialist Alliance set out in People before Profit, and upholds the principles of inclusivity, openness, tolerance, representation of minorities, transparency and accountability in decision making contained in the SA constitution.
It was because we saw the largest group in the Alliance, the Socialist Workers Party, turning its back on these principles that we found it necessary to form the Democracy Platform in Autumn 2003.
