This year, hundreds of Israeli high school students and graduates (Shministim) have again refused to serve in the Israeli army in protest at 'their' government's continuing oppression of the Palestinians, facing prison as a result.
One of them is Emelia Marcovich. She is going to be jailed on Tuesday 1 February, and her comrades have called for global demonstrations in protest on Thursday 28.
