“Resisting Fascism Then and Now” – commemoration of the Warsaw Ghetto uprising of 1943, remembering and celebrating through words and song the many ways - physical, political and cultural -that fascism was resisted, with guest speaker Wlodka Blit Robertson – a survivor of the Warsaw Ghetto. Followed by Dave Landau opening a discussion on how we can stop the far right today. The BNP are hopeful of building on recent electoral successes by gaining seats in the European Parliament. Why are they growing? How can the left respond?
