LUL's plan to move detrainments from Willesden Junction to Stonebridge Park will whip staff out of the frying pan and toss them into the fire.

Management were supposed to produce the Business Needs Schematics for the ex-Silverlink stations months ago. Then weeks ago. Then last week. But still ... Nothing.

Back in early February, there was a suspected one-under at Kenton, which came to light when a Virgin train stopped short at Harrow & Wealdstone early in the morning.

For the seventh time, Bakerloo line detrainment staff are taking a day's strike action today.

While management still seem to be in denial about the dangers of detraining alone, an incident happened at Queens Park last week that should wake even them from their slumbers.

On Friday 25th January, detrainment staff on the north end of the Bakerloo line will take their sixth day of strike action against lone working. Their resolve remains solid, and is an example and inspiration to all Tube workers. There has been no scabbing at all, even more impressive when you consider that some of the workers involved are new starters and probationers.

Bakerloo line detrainment staff will be striking on Christmas Eve, their fifth day of action against management's plans to force them to work alone.

On last Wednesday's football night, a detrainment CSA was dragged the length of the platform by some blokes who were annoyed that the train wouldn't be going all the way to their destination.

Bakerloo line detrainment staff are striking again on Monday (12th November). On the same day, Ken Livingstone and Tim O'Toole are due to visit Willesden Junction to celebrate 'London Overground'.

Last Friday's strike by Bakerloo line detrainment staff was once again solid. But again, fighting alone - and with managers and RCIs doing their duties - it sadly had little effect.

Detrainment staff remain resolute in their determination to stop management imposing lone working, but are asking: how best to carry on this campaign? Tubeworker suggests that it may be best to integrate it with the campaign over issues arising from the transfer of Silverlink stations to LUL.

Bakerloo line detrainment staff are to strike again on Friday 26th October - postponed from 22nd October following an administrative cock-up by RMT.

Detrainment staff on the Bakerloo line are still up in arms about management's plan to make them work alone, and they have very good reason to be.

Detrainment staff at the north end of the Bakerloo Line will strike on Tuesday 22nd August in protest against LUL attempts to impose lone working.

Today's Bakerloo line strike was well-supported, with station staff out solid, and only a couple of RCIs and some ASLEF drivers providing a blot on the landscape.

It's "everyone out" on Friday for the Bakerloo line strike, after management refused to budge in talks.

Drivers and detrainment staff will strike on the Bakerloo line for 24 hours starting with shifts booking on after 10pm on Thursday evening, 19th July. In effect, this is an all-day strike on Friday.

Bakerloo line RMT members have voted by 94.5% to strike against management's imposition of lone working for detrainment staff.

RMT is now balloting members on the Bakerloo line to stop management imposing lone working.

LUL management are trying to impose lone working amongst detrainment staff at Willesden Junction and Harrow & Wealdstone. At the moment, minimum staffing at both stations is two.

Management have a plan to change the rosters for detrainment staff at Willesden Junction and Harrow & Wealdstone, creating periods of the traffic day when station staff will be working alone.
