Help distribute Tubeworker!

Date:

8 September, 2013 - 12:00 to 15:00

Location:

McDonalds, Euston Road, opp. King's Cross station

Description:

Tubeworker is a monthly socialist bulletin by and for workers on the London Underground. It is produced by Workers' Liberty members also but involves rank-and-file activists and radicals who are not in AWL. It is produced in open editorial meetings where any tube worker can contribute stories and discuss the political content.

It has been continuously produced for over 20 years, and is one of the longest-running socialist workplace bulletins in British labour history.

As distributing the bulletin at work can get tube workers in trouble with management, a lot of the distribution is done by external supporters of the bulletin.

On Sunday 8 September, we'll meet at Kings Cross at 1pm (meet at McDonalds 13-15 Euston Rd, NW1 2RY, opposite the station — NOT the one on York Way!) for an informal political discussion based on the themes of Workers' Liberty's "Marxism and Trade Unions" course, then split up to distribute the bulletin to selected stations.

Come and help revolutionary tube workers spread socialist ideas to their colleagues! If you're lost on the day, or for more info, ring Daniel on 07961 040618.
