With engineering work on the Northern line this weekend, management's freeze on stations vacancies is seeing some chickens coming fluttering home to roost.
Left short-handed at Golders Green, with the Special Requirements Team unavailable, managers seem to think that they can move staff from other stations to help out. Unfortunately for them, although they may not have read the Stations Framework Agreement, staff and their reps have, and know that you can only be required to work at another station on the group due to an unanticipated occurrence.
And engineering work planned months in advance does not count as 'unanticipated' in anyone's dictionary!
