Any Tube workers out there tempted to vote Liberal Democrat in the forthcoming Mayor and GLA election should have a quick gander at LibDem Mayoral candidate Brian Paddick's manifesto on transport. There you will discover that he wants to privatise us!

He doesn't actually use the word 'privatise' of course, since that's unpopular. But the 'concession model' he refers to means that the Tube would be run by a private contractor.

What's more, in order to reassure passengers of their safety after 9pm, he will staff Tube trains not with guards but with security guards.

Anyone who is seriously thinking of voting for this right-wing clown as some sort of protest is in need of a serious rethink. The LibDems have always been a bosses' party - now on the issue of Tube privatisation, they are showing their true colours.
