Some wag on the Central line has produced a spoof Tubeworker under the title TubeDriver.

Here at TW, we like a bit of humour. So we'd like to say that it's very witty, and copying TW's graphics shows a commendable attention to detail.

Sadly, though, saying that station staffing has 'bugger all' to do with drivers and rubbishing all station staff as scabs just because a handful have scabbed in past strikes (as have a handful of drivers) is not actually funny at all. You can add to that the suggestions: that fighting casualisation is 'pointless'; that ex-Silverlink staff should be bloody grateful they got transferred to LUL at all and stop whingeing; and that standing up for ourselves by going on strike would help Boris Johnson get elected, and you realise that poor old TubeDriver is actually just a sad, right-wing sectionalist.

Which makes Tubeworker rather proud that we obviously rattled his/her cage.
