Oyster Sash?!
We know it's London Fashion Week soon, but this is going a bit far ...
In Heathrow management's latest wheeze, they want staff to wear a sash emblazoned 'Oyster Help' on the gateline! Is this Miss World - or perhaps Miss-Represented or Miss-Treated?! Staff are not mannequins, and will not be made an object of fun by management - we will certainly NOT be wearing these sashes! After all, our workmates at Heathrow 123 were supposed to suffer this indignity a while back - they just stuck them in storage.
Actually, we thought that customers who needed Oyster help were supposed to go to ticket offices and the Oyster helpline. So perhaps management's little 'cheerleader' ideas could be something to do with shutting ticket offices and under-staffing the helpline.
