Take A Break - Vote For Action!

Anti-Victimisation Disputes

LUL management have sacked two Canary Wharf Station Supervisors over some missing Kitcats! We kid you not.

Station staff often have to put up with commercial promotions on our stations, which can cause disruption, congestion and litter. There is no proper agreement or procedure about these promotions, and it has become the norm for staff to get a few of the goodies in return for their co-operation and extra grief.

But suddenly this has become a sacking issue! It would be a joke if it weren't so serious - two SS1s losing their entire livelihoods over a handful of stray chocolate bars. This is a scandal, and an indication to all of us that management are clamping down on discipline. Any of us could be next in line, so we should all rally round these sacked staff.

RMT is balloting for action in defence of the Supervisor who is an RMT member. The other one is in TSSA, who have unfortunately not declared any intention to take action.
