LUL management plan to advertise externally to recruit drivers, with the bizarre claim that there are not enough internal applicants who are up to scratch.
As Tubeworker has pointed out before, it could just be that it is LUL's privatised recruitment/promotion agency and/or its drivers' training that is not up to scratch.
The company's message to CSAs seems to be ... Don't think your career is going anywhere, matey; we're closing the ticket offices, keeping you waiting even when you do achieve promotion - and now we're recruiting drivers from outside.
